Did you know there was a time in our country when women weren't allowed to vote?
My book I COULD DO THAT: Esther Morris Gets Women the Vote tells the story of how the women of Wyoming Territory got the vote in 1869 due to a feisty woman who refused to take no for an answer.
AND it won a Christopher Award awarded to film, TV and cable, and books for adults and children that affirms the highest values of the human spirit.
